Creativity is a HUGE understatement when referring to Dillon’s Small Batch Distillery. Situated in Beamsville Ontario, this small, unique distillery is amidst the thriving Ontario wine region. If this isn’t ideal enough, located right in the distillery’s backyard is access to the bounty of natural botanical and fruit ingredients that are central components to the various products that are produced. Based on extensive research, and from the mouths of customers, Dillon’s distillery has got everything from production, marketing, and even quality to a perfection! They are literally doing everything smartly and correctly.

Having opened up the first Canadian distillery in a long time, Dillon’s Small Batch Distillery has done an exceptional job to bring wonderful life not only to their store front, but to the products in which they produce in such small batch’s. If it is one thing i’ll emphasis throughout this blog is that it is HIGHLY necessary to visit the distillery, learn and abundance of useful information, and be part of the wonderful flavours in which their products have to offer.

The Popular Rose Gin

One in particular that stood out to me, both in flavour AND name is the ROSE GIN. This traditional London-style gin is infused with rose hips, rose petals and then sweetened because who doesn’t like a sugary kick in the mouth when drinking alcohol? What fascinates me, and you when you have the chance to taste this product, is the sweet, petal/floral like, aroma that disseminates through the air and on your taste buds. It truly is a refreshing feeling and one of the reasons why I'm pushing this product most.

The production room at Dillon’s is home to a very unique, 5000-litre copper column still. The still can also be referred to as Geoff’s baby; he not only designed but had German manufacturers help to construct this beauty. 

With his remarkable machinery, he is capable of producing any variety of spirit under the sun. As one of many successful results, the distillery is able to give birth to small but tasteful batches of Rose Gin.
